4 Things to do in February

February, one of the coldest and shortest months of the year but with a lot of activities and things to do.

Love this places!

As well as a smile says a lot about who's smiling, the office's appearance can also do it about a company. Companies change and evolve, that's why a lot of them are creating spaces where employees can do their jobs comfortably, develop creativity and interact with others companions in an easy way, leaving behind the cubicles, dark spaces or walls.

More open offices are being created, more meeting rooms and less tables. Tables for all and without an assigned chair, where everyday you choose where and with you you want to seat. Cafeterias to take a break and libraries to look for resources when inspiration fails, or even rooms to take a nap (that's excellent when you eat at work, and don't know what to do with those 15 minutes left).

Al igual que la sonrisa de una persona dice mucho de ella, la estética de una oficina también puede hacerlo de la compañía. Las empresas cambian y evolucionan, es por eso que muchas empresas están creando espacios dónde los trabajadores puedan trabajar a gusto, desarrollar la creatividad e interactuar con los demás compañeros de una manera más fácil dejando atrás los cubículos, espacios oscuros o con paredes.

Se están creando oficinas más abiertas, más salas de reuniones y menos mesas. Mesas para todos sin que haya un puesto asignado, dónde cada día puedas escoger dónde y con quien te quieres sentar y trabajar. Salas de cafetería para hacer un descanso y salas de biblioteca, dónde buscar recursos cuando falle la inspiración o incluso salas para hacer una siesta (sobretodo para cuando comemos en el despacho y no sobran 15 minutos que no sabemos que hacer ;)).

Christmas holidays

Today is one of the most desired days for all the spanish people, Christmas' Gordo day, which only a few are chosen to get lucky. The others have the most important things: health, family, friends and happiness to share.

In Christmas there are people who get nervous about buying presents, dinners with mothers-in-law, lunches with uncles and their never ending stories... the important thing here is to have fun, and if something doesn't end well, we always can make fun of it and forget it all.

After meetings advices, here come some about Christmas:

• Dress well according to these dates, avoid using to much glitter and complements or you will look like a Christmas tree.
• Organize. Days have 24 hours and weeks 7 days. Come ahead of time, delegate and simplify things if you find yourself surpassed.
• If you want to decorate the table, do it, but don't put too many candles, it is uncomfortable to eat and someone could get burnt.
• Do it as simple as you can. If you haven't got money for presents, personalize a frame and print in good quality a photography. Family (grandparents above all) will show it off proud.
• Be punctual, it is a sign of respect for the hosts, and there's food that needs to be eaten hot.
• Take advantage of every moment, focus on where you are . There will be time for everything.
• Laugh and smile.

But above everything, toast, toast with your people for all the good things that are coming, and the bad times you leave behind.

Hoy es uno de los días más deseados por los españoles, el día de "Gordo" de Navidad que solo unos pocos tienen la suerte que les toque, a los otros tenemos lo más importante: salud, familia, amigos y alegrías para compartir.
En estas fechas de Navidad hay quien se pone muy nervioso por comprar regalos, las cenas con la suegra, la comida con el tío y sus historias,.. lo importante es pasarlo bien, y pensar que si alguna cosa no ha salido bien luego nos podremos reír de ello y olvidarlo.

Después de los consejos de las reuniones hoy vienen unos cuantos para las fiestas de navidad:

• Vístete bien y acuerdo con las fechas, pero no te pases de purpurina y complementos no te vayas a parecer un árbol de navidad
• Organízate. El día tiene 24 horas y la semana 7 días. Adelanta cosas, delega y haz cosas más sencillas si no llegas.
• Si quieres adornar la mesa para la comidas y cenas hazlo, pero no abuses de las velas y que alguien se queme.
• Lo más sencillo es lo que más triunfa. Si no tienes mucho dinero para regalos, personaliza un marco e imprime (en buena calidad) una foto, tus abuelos y toda la familia lo lucirá con orgullo.
• Se puntual o como mínimo inténtalo, por respeto, por los anfitriones y porque hay comida que fría no vale nada!
• Aprovecha todos los momentos y céntrate en dónde estás, ya habrá tiempo para todo.
• Ríete y sonríe.

Pero sobretodo brinda, brinda con los tuyos, por lo bueno que vendrá y por lo malo que dejas atrás.

Victor Martin alongside Billie Sastre have done it again. They've given their best and have achieved a successful solidary event which collects two tons and a half of food!!

They have the ability to gather a nun, a traveler, a dreamer, a copywriter and a colour dreamer, among others.

Gathering these professionals, and make them teach us something different is not easy, but they all did. And at least I have pondered and learned with every “tweetponencia” as presenter Paco Sosa said.

Starting with @sorluciacaram was a shot of positivism and attitude to improve the world. Networks not only serve to sell, they also are useful to spread and help the others, as @DavidCantone told us: “The world moves faster every minute and it's easier to share, but there is yet space for all in the cyberworld and there are few brave enough to show themselves on video (maybe someday I will join them one day).

Alex Kei made us notice that nowadays there's nothing risky as not to take any risks, being afraid is normal but we have to learn to be self-sufficient, to learn and to make things in a different way. @Yoriento couldn't start with a better sentence: “To reinvent is not keep doing courses, is to change your life style and specialize”. We ball know to do things, that's the important thing about our curriculum and if we want to grow up day by day we have to pick small goals that cannot be refused to reach.

If there was someone in the hall that still didn't believe in his/her personal potential, @maidertomasena arrived to tell us that we all are seducers. To seduce is a matter of attitude and the key lays in making feel good your listeners, clients or friends. We have to listen more and talk less, without forgetting to be authentic.

After 4 hours of speeches, I agree that's never too late to decide what you want to be, so come on with your dreams and as @alexkei said: “A lot of successes!”

Victor Martín junto con Billie Sastre lo han vuelto hacer. Lo han dado todo y han conseguido un evento solidario de ÉXITO donde consiguieron dos toneladas y media de comida!!

Han tenido la capacidad de reunir a una monja, un viajero, un soñador, una copywriter y a una soñadora de colores entre otros.

Reunir a estos grandes profesionales y que cada uno nos enseñe algo a todos los asistentes no era fácil, pero cada ponente lo ha hecho. Y yo como mínimo he reflexionado y aprendido con cada “tweetponencia” como decía el presentador Paco Sosa.

Empezar con @sorluciacaram fue un chute de positivismo y ganas de mejorar el mundo, las redes no solo sirven para vender sino para difundir y ayudar a los otros, como nos contaba @DavidCantone el mundo cada vez se mueva más rápido y es más fácil compartir pero aún hay espacio para muchos en el ciberespacio y son poco los que se atreven a salir en vídeo (quién sabe si me animaré algún día).

Alex Kei nos hizo dar cuenta que no hay nada más arriesgado hoy en día que no tomar riesgos, tener miedo es normal pero tenemos que aprender a ser autosuficientes, aprender y hacer las cosas de una forma distinta. @Yoriento no podía empezar con mejor frase: "Reinventarse no es cursillear es cambiar el estilo de vida y especializarse", todos sabemos hacer cosas, eso es lo importante de nuestro currículum y si queremos crecer día a día tenemos que ponernos metas tan pequeñas que no podamos no intentarlas. 

Si había alguien en la sala que aún no creía en su potencial llego @maidertomasena, para decirnos que todos somos unos seductores. Seducir es cuestión de actitud y la claves reside en hacer sentir bien a tus oyentes, clientes o amigos, tenemos que escuchar más y hablar menos, sin olvidarnos de SER AUTÉNTICOS.

Después de 4 horas, estoy de acuerdo que nunca es tarde para decidir lo que quieres ser, así que adelante con los sueños y, como dijo @alexkei  ¡MUCHÍSIMOS ÉXITOS!
